World Book Day 2020



World Book Day is an annual celebration of books and reading by the Booksellers Association and the Publishers Association, and sponsored by National Book Tokens. This  event involves giving a specially-produced £1 token to school children throughout the UK to encourage them to discover the delights of their local bookshop. Since 1998, over 14 million school children each year have received special £1 tokens that they can  take into bookshops to exchange for either a specially-commissioned £1 token or redeem against a full-price purchase. 

World Book Day 2020 will take place Thursday 5 March
