Booktime is the Booksellers Association’s free consumer magazine all about books, aimed at independent bookshop customers, and exclusively available in independent bookshops. It comes out every other month and is full of articles, extracts from books, reviews, author interviews, competitions and more. It features new books published during the two months each edition covers, from adult fiction and non-fiction to children’s and YA, and there is also a digital edition. It includes books by an inclusive, wide range of different authors, and is supported by the Books Are My Bag social media channels. One box of 50 copies of Booktime is  free to members, and members can order additional boxes in advance for £18 each. It has a print run of more than 22,000 copies, and goes out to more than 390 bookshops. In a survey, 83% of those members who took Booktime agreed that they stock titles they wouldn't otherwise stock because of the magazine, 83% agreeed that customers buy titles as a direct result of them featuring in Booktime, and 93% agreed that Booktime has a good selection of titles.
