Retail Trust Wellbeing Services
In 2018, the BA funded a year-long membership of the Retail Trust as a pilot for independent BA members and their staff. The pilot was so well-received by members, that it has been continued as an ongoing service, to offer ongoing wellbeing support to booksellers and their families.
The Retail Trust is a charity set up to help all those in the retail industry. From 1832 onwards, the Retail Trust has been caring for and protecting the lives of people working in retail. The Trust believes the health of our colleagues is the foundation they need to flourish in both work and life, creating a more sustainable and successful future for retail. It offers free, confidential and impartial wellbeing services to bookselling staff.
Booksellers employed by independent bookshops in BA membership can use the Retail Trust services straight away.
To access the wellness resources, articles, quizzes and videos,
you simply need to
register on the Retail Trust website
, and select ‘Booksellers Association’ as your employer.
