What do you get when a bookworm and a board game enthusiast decide to go in business together?
Books on the Bridge!
A small, independent bookstore, Books on the Bridge aims to celebrate hobbies of the great indoors - and what better hobby to celebrate than reading? Our goal is to provide Long Eaton with diverse, interesting, and entertaining stories, using the works of independent authors and publishers as well as traditionally-published books. We want to get as many people reading in Long Eaton as we can, and our favourite genres to do so are fantasy - including romantasy - historical fiction, science fiction and romance. We also aim to build a community of local readers, providing them with a safe space to enjoy their chosen literature, and introduce a love of reading for the next generation.
As well as books, we provide Warhammer miniatures and board games for people interested in these hobbies.
Whether you're a seasoned Dungeon Master, a whiz at painting Warhammer miniatures, or an avid bookworm - or none of these apply - everybody is welcome at Books on the Bridge...because the outdoors is overrated anyway!
