Indie Book of the Month - The Good Thieves

On the book’s selection, Katherine Rundell said, "I’m so delighted that The Good Thieves has been chosen as the Independent Booksellers Children’s Book of the Month for June; Independent Bookshops have been so generous in championing my work ever since I began writing. In promoting the out-of-the-way gems and marvels along with the bestsellers, independent bookshops do such formidable cultural work; they stretch and stretch our horizons, and I am intensely grateful to them.”

Emma Bradshaw, Head of Campaigns at the BA, commented: “The Good Thieves is a thrilling heist story. I adore the brave and resourceful Vita. I l’m a big fan of Katherine’s and I love this book. I’m so pleased that the panel has selected it for Children’s Book of the Month.”

Chosen by a panel of independent booksellers from a range of new children’s titles, the Book of the Month showcases independent bookshops’ expertise at promoting and selling children’s books.
