Bookshop Day Unveils Line-up

The line-up for
Bookshop Day
(Saturday 8 October) – the annual celebration of bookshops big and small in the UK and Ireland – have today been revealed, with dozens of events and activities taking place across the country.
From author events with Jacqueline Wilson and Oliver Jeffers to children’s sessions involving face painting, mask-making and colouring, and from the kick-off of a four-week Great Author North Tour involving six bookshops to exclusive promotions and freebies of all kinds (including sweet ones!), Bookshop Day is set to be a reminder to all book-lovers that there’s nothing like your local bookshop.

will be holding a free event on Saturday 8 October at 2pm with children’s author
