Christmas Books is the primary marketing tool for independent booksellers. Each year, nearly 1 million copies are produced and sent out to book buyers helping booksellers drive sales at Christmas.

Christmas Books, works because of the attention to detail that goes not just into the title selection – by an expert panel of leading independent booksellers representing the BA’s highly regarded Independent Business Forum – and production, but into making sure that the catalogue delivers what booksellers need. Together with National Book Tokens, we provide practical and financial support to ensure that Christmas Books is the only catalogue produced for independent booksellers that offers:

Free front and back cover customisation as standard

Free point of sale material as standard

Free customisable artwork for local newspaper advertising

A subsidy for local newspaper advertising

A subsidy for door-to-door distribution

And, again for 2009, the first 1,000 copies free of charge on orders of 2,000 copies plus

Christmas Books is available free of charge for the first 1,000 copies on orders of 2,000 copies plus. We are able to maintain prices, ie £60 per thousand for orders over 10,00 copies, and £85 per thousand for orders below 10,000. Overprinting of the front and back cover with your details remained absolutely free

Order forms were despatched to BA members with an order deadline of 24th July 2009. It may still be possible to order copies.
