Organisation Info

What's In This Section?

Welcome to the Organisation Information section of the Booksellers Association (BA) website where you will find information relating to the BA. Within this section you will learn more about the BA and what we do for our members, as well as where we are located.

Bookselling Essentials is our newsletter produced on a regular basis throughout the year to keep our members informed of developments within the book trade and with regular news reports from the BA Group.

If you wish to find out more about joining the BA or wish to join online you will be able to do so within this section. Non bookselling outlets can also join the BA as Associate Members.

If you are not yet a bookseller but are considering whether this is the career for you, our Advice for new Booksellers could help you to make up your mind.

As well as providing Products and Services for our members we also represent booksellers' interests in a number of ways.

The BA has specialist bookselling groups such as Christian Booksellers. Find out more here, as well as finding details of the current members of the BA Council.

The BA Group Annual Report summarises all the work that the Association has undertaken for each year, and gives a useful overview of the wide range of activity we are involved in.

The Press Room contains all the Press Release issued by the BA Group

Although staff turnover within the BA Group is relatively low, any current Job Opportunities will be featured within this section.

Lastly, if you wish to contact any of the BA Group staff, please go to Contact Us for direct line telephone numbers as well as email addresses.
