The BA publishes a wide range of information to help members run their businesses more efficiently, and we aim to be your first port of call for any book industry related information or advice.

  • The Directory of BA Members - which helps to promote members' services. The 2013/14 directory is available at £41 plus p+p outside UK. BA members receive a free copy. More information here.
  • The Independent Booksellers Guide to Multi-Channel Bookselling (2010) - Linda Bennett's guide includes ideas on websites, audiobooks, e-books, e-readers, print on demand, social networking, blogs and internet marketing. Free to BA members, £25 (Paperback) £20 (PDF) for non-members. For more information click here.
  • The Complete Guide to Starting and Running a Bookshop - although aimed at prospective members, it contains a great deal of useful information for established booksellers. There will be a new edition, updated and rewritten, during 2012, price on application.
  • Bookselling Essentials is our regular magazine which covers areas of particular interest to booksellers and news on services to members - available here.
