The BA has launched a new webservice called batchconnect to 'connect' booksellers, publishers and authors. It aims particularly to help publishers to promote new and backlist titles to booksellers and to help booksellers organise more events in bookshops involving authors. New Introduction to Bookselling Course
The Booksellers Association Group covers the BA, National Book Tokens and batch.co.uk. The Group also hosts the World Book Day web site and sponsors the annual London Book Fair. The Group is part owner of Book Industry Communication (BIC).
As a trade association we represent over 4,400 retail outlets. Shops in membership range from large chains to small independent booksellers.
